Mark Gruppen sætter kursen mod vækst

With signed contracts from 17 new customers within few months, the Mark Group shows strong signs of growth and demonstrates the reorganized company’s ability to achieve impressive results in very short time. “We are on the right track”, says Group President and CEO Carlos M. Christensen.

The Mark Group, which is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of job shop data collection, job & roster planning and Time & Attendance systems, is beginning to reap the benefits of the reorganization that was carried out earlier this year. In only five months the company has added 17 new customers to its client list and several large orders are in the pipeline in all of the company’s target markets.

The impressive achievement is an outright result of the initiatives taken by the company to turn it into a customer-driven organization. Over the years, the Mark Group has developed a number of industry leading solutions that are recognized by companies throughout Europe. By reorganizing the company the Mark Group has succeeded in optimizing its strong competencies and creating an organization driven by profound market understanding and unique customer service.

According to Carlos M. Christensen, who was appointed Group President and CEO of the Mark Group in December 2003, the reorganization was made to prepare the company for growth and expansion into new markets and customer segments.

- We set out on a journey January 1st this year and now we begin to reap the fruits of our hard work. Reorganizing a well established company with international business units is a big challenge, and therefore I am particularly happy that we are creating positive results at this early stage. We are a strong company with extremely dedicated employees and I believe our clients feel attracted to that, says Carlos M. Christensen, Group President and CEO of Mark Group.

Since January 1st 2004 Mark Group has signed contracts with among others LK, Hydro Aluminium, TetraPak, A-betong, and Bakers.
